They are the first 2 missions of a project of campaign.

afflicted, I could not translate the continuation:

Thanks for your help Gavagai :)

Once we have finished we should review them so that the common texts that appear in each mission are identical.

Yes, I plan to look over what you've done to keep it consistent. I'm already impressed with the difficulty, as some sentence constructions in French don't fit into English, even though they make perfect sense. It requires a bit of creative reorganizing and choice of vocabulary to keep to the original spirit of the text.

Yes, sometimes I just had to re-think the entire sentence and find a different way to say the same thing.

If you find anything in my translations you think need a change please feel free to to say it, then we can agree on what is the best translation for it.

Also for some sentences related to subtitles or to elemnts on the map, it is sometimes difficult to know if the translation is good without testing the mission… ;)

Sorry for the delay. I should have my first two translations ready soon (23 and 24). It's more challenging than I expected.

Another hangup before I post 23 and 24. How would you translate "Les casques a point?" I could call them pickelhaubes, but who's going to know what those are? Pointed hats would do the trick I guess?

Casques à pointes: nickname for German soldiers, because of their war helmets.
Like "the Boche". Best english terms for me would be "the Krauts".
Or perhaps "the Huns" or the "Boches". It seems that the Boches was used by French and British as well.
