Salute<> Vongraz Before the last update I was able to modify settings to enable throttle....now I can't. Perhaps someone can enlighten us as to whether any modifications available. Hans Richt Thinking about forever.

Salute All:
I still have my throttle set under joy1_axis_Z, in the Plane Controls, Engine Control:throttle.
I have tried the input.map and it works but the one I use now is from the CH Hanger site for CH Equipment. It was designed by one of their staff and I am able to modify it slightly.

Just got the game last week, and it blew me away with the realism and resolution capability, but was frustrated with the inability to activate the throttle control on my MS Sidewinder Pro joystick. Is there a fix available or is there instructions within the game that will initiate the throttle control.
Thanks in advance brpurcell

Here is one way to do it.
When you open the Launcher, click on Settings then chose input. Under Game settings chose Plane controls form the list then click on one of the choices so you can scroll down to Engine control: throttle and highlight one of the choices. Then, choose Duplicate. Now, without moving the mouse, move the Throttle lever on your joystick. That should set the blank to say "joy1_axis_P" then you can click on OK.

Exactly, though one thing to add.. at least on the two systems I've used my MS FFB2 stick with RoF, I also had to reverse the throttle axis. (simply check the reverse axis box once you've chosen the input/throttle paddle) Without trying to sound like a jerk, I really don't understand why this is so hard to figure out. It would be handier if mapping were in-game, but the process still came as 2nd nature for me. I just had to spend an extra minute looking at the Settings tab.. ~S~ CFS_EAGLE_03/Tiny

What made it hard for me was that I would move the mouse and then that mouse axis became the setting. I finally found that hint on another thread and then it was easy to add or change. I think that some controls are locked though.
