Good afternoon!
Our first screenshot contest is now over we received 75 screenshots from you, such a high number was rather unexpected and very inspiring. We wanted to know how our users look at “Rise of Flight” (As you can understand, we have lost our sharpness a little). That's why, it was a screenshot contest. I like this kind of competition, because before coming to the game-development industry, I worked as a designer (and this fully “echoed” in the “Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War”). Aviation is a leading edge of design and engineering in the last century. And those elements, lines and forms, in other words, all what we now call “a style of each epoch” — were born by people working in design departments.
It was difficult for me to judge, because there were lots of good pictures. But, the rules were stated, so I had to make a decision.
1st place: VonZimmerman

I believed that this is a big and heavy aeroplane that crashed. Well done. Thank you.
2nd place: Voidhunger

Here I was imbued by the feeling of freedom of flight. Nice view and geometry of the shot. Thank you.
3rd place: Isay

Graphics of the drawing is the main thing here. It is close to the ink drawing. Laconic and clear. Thank you.
Down here, I attach other nice pictures deserving attention. I think you can see how difficult was to choose a winner.

As usual, contest winners will be awarded by planes, and top screenshots (with the names of the authors) will be published in the gallery. I think our gallery should be full of your screenshots. Visit our new gallery on the 12th of October.
We will regularly organize such competitions and will add more nominations to it, so that it can match different ideas of our screenshots' authors, e.g. a screenshot, a screen-art, a video, a skin etc. It is very interesting for me and very important for our team.
And a traditional gifts-giving: the 5000-th and the 6000-th plane buyers of our online store sanelmalo and -Hector- are awarded by Pfalz D.XII planes.
I wish you good luck, new victories and success in your activities. I am very glad that “Rise of Flight” has such professional community.
