Communication check

Good day, Dear Users!

In “Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War” community we have more than 40 000 people from more than 85 countries all over the world. And really encouraging thing is that more people join us. Thanks a lot to all for your support and help!

Our users spent many hours flying “Rise of Flight”, many of them became experienced pilots and first aces of the game. We are constantly developing our project and for us is very important to know your opinion about it. We want to get your feedback in more “structured” way to understand what hampers your playing, what difficulties you faced to. With your feedback we can focus on improving important points of Rise of Flight to make it better and interesting for you. That's why we want to gather the info not only by our forum or your emails to our Support Service but also by several surveys in which we ask you to take part in. The invitations are being sent to your personal emails. There are only a few questions and it won't take much of your time.

And some other news:
We are glad to announce that we have implemented PayPal in our store with the help of our North American publisher 777 Studios. Now you can purchase additional planes with PayPal in more comfortable and safety way. We have many requests for that and we hope you will like it!

The game would have a broader base if it weren't dependent of the internet.

There is a loud cry from a lot of people, including me, who don't like the idea of paying for a game & then still be dependent of the functionality of an online server.

To me this whole enchilada is more about earning bucks then providing a good game or good service...

My gaming pc is bug free & it's bug free cause it stays away from the internet. Any system that dictates you to go online is a money sucking, problem generating, no go in my eyes. ALTEBO ? than don't buy it ...people copy all kind of games so the developers of this game don't make money at all is that what you want ??

what i like right now is that every person i see online ore play the game payed fore it .

I think you should read about DRM Failure Spore before you say anything about piracy prevention helping prevent piracy.

Rise of flight *as far as I know* has not been cracked yet, but if its popular it probably will be regardless of DRM. People who pirate games are low, its killing PC Gaming, and no doubt we will get more low quality ports of console games as time goes on.

Something has to be done about this but DRM is not the answer.

On another note, its good to see that this game has not been cracked yet, and the just deserved rewards are going to Neoqb.

uh...is this survey being sent to everyone, or just a select few?  I have not recieved a survey either.  Anyone else haveing this issue?

greasysidedown → 10/6/2009 4:49:15 PM #

The demo refuses to start. I've intalled it three times and it takes nearly an hour just to update before the start button appears. Then, nothing. It's back to Over Flanders' Fields for me. Over and out.

Bob6 → 10/6/2009 4:58:54 PM #

Its great that Pay Pal is available but I would also like to make multible aircraft purchases in the one transaction.

Viper69 → 10/7/2009 1:54:15 PM #

The survay was a half hearted survay at best. The option of "I am not buying any planes because the game itself is not finished yet" was not an option to click on.

var0522 → 10/7/2009 2:05:50 PM #

OK.
But where can i find to download the upgrade?

WWBayonet → 10/11/2009 5:32:37 PM #

Viper 69 said "The option of "I am not buying any planes because the game itself is not finished yet" was not an option to click on." and I'm totally in agreement.

groundcontrol → 10/14/2009 1:00:26 AM #

Im gona baye planes. It,s stupid not to.And the game is finisht ather wise it won,t be on the market.

groundcontrol → 10/14/2009 1:05:08 AM #
