Good day, dear users!
Today, new update will be available to download. We were fixing bugs, making improvements in our project taking into account information obtained from our testers and forum users. Main features of the upcoming update are:
- German, French and Spanish localization of “Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War” (in cooperation with our European publisher Aerosoft, who also supports forums for users speaking these languages. And I am very glad that user's interaction with our game will be better. I hope new foreign users can join our Rise of Flight Air Force. Nowadays, we have people from 85 countries in our community.
- By tradition, this update includes two new airplanes of the Great War. We have Sopwith Dolphin and Pfalz D.XII taken off the ground. Personally, I much enjoyed flying Dolphin. Good attack plane, and dangerous opponent, especially in groups, and besides, it provides smooth and predictable control for a pilot. On the other hand, Pfalz D.XII is a little crafty, it likes to get into the left spin, and you need to switch off the engine to pull out of that spin. But, nevertheless, it is a good partner for Albatros. I hope you will enjoy flying these planes, and I also hope to see them in multiplayer battles (I regularly fly in MP).
- Now there is a possibility to buy more than one plane at the same time. It will make your purchasing more comfortable.
- Unfortunately, digital distribution was not started in Russia and CIS. But we have plenty of requests about purchasing a digital version from our users, especially from distant places. For users in Russia and CIS, we would like to make a special thing: they can transform their demo version to the full version using Yandex.Money payment system. The price of this transformation (upgrade to the full version) equals the price of two planes (Fokker D.VII and Spad 13.C1) plus payment system fee.
- And of course, we kept on fixing and improving all that needs to be fixed and improved. Full list of improvements is published here in our forum.
And a couple of general news:
- The 4000th customer (hackers-nackers) of our online store was awarded by Pfalz D.III plane.
- From the 25th of September we are starting “Rise of Flight Best Screenshot” contest. First three winners will be awarded by a plane, and top 42 screenshots (with the names of the authors) will be published in the Rise of Flight gallery.
- On the 26-27th of September, I will be at Germany's 7th Flight Simulation Conference by Aerosoft in Paderborn. I will be glad to answer the questions of German users and all guests of the Conference.
These were major news of September. We are starting preparation for the next update 1.008 (October). I will tell what it will include in Paderborn, Germany. And on returning back, we will publish all the information about it in our News section. Have a nice flight!
