Training Campaign Lesson 2

Dear friends, even though it is about Christmas time I would like to share with you some information that we are still on it and we are still working very hard. At the present time our main goal is some finalization of GUI and mission generator. I should admit that this is some serious work, and while we have some spare time I propose to fill it with a new video update of our training campaign. The second lesson for your future flights in "Rise of Flight"!

Don't forget our first lesson!

Please stay tuned!

I like the design of the tutorials very much, but the voice isnt very smart... souns a little to computer-like. Maybe you can fix that?

Ahaaaaaa ..... flight school, sure brings back memories. LOL!

Very nice, really adds a different level of immersion.

..... waiting to see the one on air-combat tactics! How about he same, but for the Jasta's?

Good job!

Hey, I like the way the engine pops amd misfires at high altitude in the video.  I hope this type of enfine management sound effect(s) will be in the sim too.  You know, if you guys could port this sim to the consoles also, you would make millions! $$$ Smile

@UFO: it's actually a Canadian voice actor if I remember correctly?  But I know exactly what you mean - there's awkward timings in the sentences that make it sound like a computer.  Sounds natural at first, then you hear things that maybe only sound weird to native speakers?

I've got a question about the system requirements for RoF.  Are the posted requirements the minimum, or the recommended system requirements.  The reason I'm asking is that I've just upgraded my machine and I'm still 1Gb short in the memory department.  I can always add another Gb if necessary.  Just curious whether or not this machine will do RoF justice.

Is there going to be those "labels" right above the other planes to find and identify them ? Best thing would be optional, so one can switch it off, if he doesn´t like it.

As far as the voice in the fight lesson "FILM" it fits right into the motion picture projection. This film is to replicate an old time sound movie on reel with side voice playback on a movie projector, not like on a DVD. Remember the films in school? Turn the lights out, pull down the screen, click on the projector. Maybe your are to young an have not see this type of movie? .... kids.

Anyway, keep it as it is, you have the total movie effect correct. Great job!

@ Womenfly
Erhhm... I´m 42... and yes, it´s a looong time ago, but I´ve seen those school-films. I´m still in disagreement with you or maybe you don´t understand what I mean... the intervall of this voice is too snatchy.

If you haven't seen them already, check out some stunning new ROF screenshots on pages 3 & 4 of the Media section here.  You won't be disappointed that you did! Smile
