Game design
Hello!
This post is devoted to the game design.
Working on game design we decided not to use “ancient” interface despite the fact that game events take place at the beginning of the previous century. Our game is a high-technology project. But at the same time we had to consort with a style of that period. Did we achieve this goal or not we will find out from you.
Today I will pay more attention to the reward system. This system is different for single and multiplayer modes.
Single player game implies very serious history line which we can’t distort. So you get the real reward at this part of game.
And you also improve your rank. Your improvement influences the number of planes you have under you command and it provides you with additional events during your missions.
Multiplayer game has its own reward system. You will be able to get badges according to several basic professions. You must have specific professional qualities for getting it. This feature depends on player’s character: some of them are great air fighters and some are good commanders and tacticians. This will help every player to fulfill himself with a profession he prefers.
You will be able to get some "items" besides badges too. These "items" are more rare and valuable and you can get it under particular circumstances. One of the examples of such items is the award weapons.
Or it can be a letter from a lady-love who is sure waiting for her hero at home.
The portrait we
showed
you not so long ago demonstrated our designer’s work.
The game will contain several such items. All of them will be different. Which one you will get is a matter of case.
In conclusion I would like to show you another one feature of the interface. The interface will also include various types of helpers for the gamers who will not get on with 3d devices.
For example – a clock which will appear at the foreground along with different help items by choosing corresponding options.
Well, sure I can’t tell you about everything in one post but I hope you’ve enjoyed your reading.

The art work is exquisite, well done! I'm very glad you have decided to give the game some atmosphere beside the basic mission options....

What exactly are we going to use these weapons for (aside from shooting ourselves if our plane catches on fire)?

How about Multiplayer server along the lines of battle ground europe.
The ability of playing and progressing in clan based squadrons, some fighters, some recon/ bombers.
Stats tracked like say Battle Field 2 did.

Oh perhaps a way while at air field pay period music, hosted somewhere like shoutcast, that keeps news broadcasts to that day in the MP server.

Picture this. You get onine, fire off those PM's, het lets go fly. You get in the server, while waiting for your buddies, you hear the period news or the music being played on the radio. You and your squadron take off, fly your sector as givin you by tact players. As the front moves etc. You may draw an escort , or say a sweep mission. If a squadron registered as recon, you may have to go do that. The next time you sign back on, everything has progressed as everybody else is doing the same thing 24/7.

Stlkrash, I think you would be unlikely "hear the period news or the music being played on the radio" There were no public broadcasts back then. Best you can hope for there is a week old copy of the Daily Mail....

Good designs of those awards! My online squadron is comming together quite nicely,10 members so far!Im not sure why this game won't allow you to fly multi-seated aircraft. It seem simple to just select the postion (rear gunner, pilot, navigator, ect.)and then proceed the mission with that position.

I like the professions type struture, this can attract other players not exclusivly pilots, eventualy in future can inspire introdution of other elements enlarging more the WWI atmosphere.
I apreciate too that in recommended system you gave us some more info than usualy i see in other titules, thought you can go further, why not give all the specs of your teste machine(MOBO/RAM, drivers used), i belive can minimiza many of the problems that generaly occur, a benefit to all, devs and costumers, once we never will see consoles into PCs, it may be the way to go
.

This IS real flying!!! HAving watched the videos for months I fell I can stay quiet no longer! As someone who 1) loves WW1 flight and aircraft more than any other 2) Flew Sierra's Red Baron almost continuosly - this is perfect! - BUT! What about 2-seater planes? Yes, I know by 1917 the war in the air was between fighters. Initially it was the gunner in the two seater who was the higher rank and the pilot just 'the driver'! The Bristol F2B was a deadly two seater at the end of the war as was the Vickers 'Gun Bus' earlier. Part of the experience of WW1 flying must be sat in the back with your eyes peeled. Multiplayer missions could employ one player as gunner and a second as pilot. Then there is the Ilya Murmorets ..... Can't wait for the release and am building a special PC just for it!
