Hello from "Rise of Flight"

At the Leipzig Game Convention 2008 we have got aquinted with Sergey Buragin (sebuga.de) who is a enthusiatic flight simulators fan. He was one of the first in the world who tested our "Rise of Flight" . Previous wekeend Sergey organized a cyber-competion the SIMLAN08 for fans of flight simulators. We have been also invited to this event. But unfortunately, Albert Zhiltsov - the producer of “Rise of Flight” couldn't visit that competion personally but he said "hello" virtually. Here is an exclusive video for the SimLAN 2008.

Its nice to see the people who are behind the game of ROF.When I look a pics and vids of the game,I often think of how they made the intense detail and graphics. It astounds me on how developers could make something look so real!It makes me say,"Its amazing on what man could do"! (when we are not being destructiveSmileI praise your work and dedication of making a flight sim of an often forgotten conflict.Rise of Flight looks to be the serious WW1 flight sim that we have been looking for,not since Red Baron II.This game will be a hit!Hopefully,ROF would be equally advertised on US TV as the mindless 1st person shooters that involves shooting inocent civilians and law enforcement!I would be very happy to hear the words "Rise of Flight" from my TV.

Tvrdi → 11/20/2008 9:54:06 PM #

спасибо, you are wizzards!

SE_Aetos → 11/21/2008 1:20:55 AM #

"Hopefully,ROF would be equally advertised on US TV"

I would be content if the game would show up on gamespot.com and other review sites.  If the game is so close to release, why have we not seen very much press about it?

A second question.  How well does the game run on the stated "Minimal" specs?  I have started buidling a new PC ya see.  Would this be closer to recommended or optimal specs?  I am guessing you are simply being honest unlike some companies who lower their min specs just so more people will buy the game.

Thank you for showing use around the office.  It is nice to see the faces behind the game.

Kate → 11/21/2008 11:12:45 AM #

2 SE_Aetos: the system requirements specified now on a site, provide acceptable  game work. On Monday  we will hang out on a site the new system requirements with which game will go not simply acceptable but well. about concerning to the game illumination in a game on-line press - we are  falling on it now =) Observe the information!

SE_Aetos → 11/21/2008 2:03:44 PM #

Great to hear!  We wish you and the game much success!

Willi Von Klugerman → 11/21/2008 7:05:18 PM #

What are the plans for the press of the game?I hope eneough people will buy this game and play the multiplayer.

dutch → 11/21/2008 7:38:06 PM #

One question, I'm not shure about this or I miss some info. Will this game be a internetgame like Warcraft, (=paying for playing every mounth and the need of a fast internet) or a standalone like RB, OFF, Il-2 etc.
Dutch

Willi Von Klugerman → 11/21/2008 9:48:37 PM #

I hope that they wont make us pay for online play.

LOFT → 11/22/2008 11:36:30 AM #

No. Pay for account, and for planes. And in future for new maps, trains, tanks and other content.

dutch → 11/22/2008 5:40:21 PM #

ok no "world of warcraft" system and can be play on a stand allone computer.

Can't wait for it.

Winkle → 11/22/2008 7:57:47 PM #

Its Official.

I'm excited!

Willi Von Klugerman → 11/22/2008 9:37:26 PM #

Lets face it Winkle, were all excited! My best bet is that the game would either be released on February or March, place your bets : )

dutch → 11/23/2008 5:59:29 AM #

Yep Willi, I wait a long time for this game, but its better to have a good bug free game then scrap. I think realese date: end summer 2009.
Question to neoqb: do not only publisch the minium requirements but also the optimium requirements and is it supporting direct10, trackerIR and Freetrack.

Dutch

dutch → 11/23/2008 6:03:15 AM #

Forgot something: for the optimum requirements, graphic card chip the ATI or Nvidea.

Dutch.

migl.sant → 11/23/2008 2:15:56 PM #

Yes Dutch, this sim supports trackIR. If you watch the videos you see the movemments inside cockpit. www.naturalpoint.com/.../...nced-games-flight.html
I hope this game suport both directX 9 and 10. I have a good PC but i work with XP. So i cant play it in DirectX 10. Can we paint our own skins/ templates??? Hope we can.

Willi Von Klugerman → 11/24/2008 6:35:32 PM #

Can putting custom text on your aircrafts wings be an option for the paint system?Just like what Kempf did with his Fokkers middle wing.

Reflected → 11/26/2008 8:11:43 AM #

This video is such a tease! I can't wait for this game. Finally a serious WWI sim. I'm an offliner, so I'm looking forward to a good AI. Will it feature a flyable Fokker Dr1? Any aprrox release date?

stlkrash → 11/26/2008 4:30:08 PM #

This keeps getting better and better.  Lets hope it releases before its outdated.

6S.Bart → 11/26/2008 7:16:32 PM #
