"Igromir - 2008". Overview
While a vacation at school has ended, the event "Igromir – 2008" has ended for us too. This exhibition is the largest game exhibition in Russia and CIS. At this exhibition our game has been presented at the booth of our publisher to Russia and the CIS - the company "Noviy Disk".
It was one of the exciting moments for the project "Rise of Flight" and our company "neoqb". For the first time we showed our game to all interested persons. Earlier only very small amount of visitors of business part at the Leipzig Game Convention - 2008 could test our game, which, as we hope, becomes a source of pleasure for many admirers of a genre of flightsimulators. And the exhibition "Igromir – 2008" will be visited by thousand and thousand people of all ages, with absolutely different genre preferences.
Our primary goals which we put for ourselves before the exhibition:
1. Successfully present the game on the exhibition
2. To collect maximum quantity of wishes and impressions
3. To inform
about our project
While Russia had a rest, the project team prepared for the exhibition by the sweat of the brow. For 14 hours per day. Seven days in a week. And we have made everything that could, and even more than that.
More than thousand persons have visited our stand for 4 days. The considerable part of them has tested aircrafts which almost don't exist already.
We wish to declare that we reached our goals.
Presentation has passed successfully.
We collected so many wishes and impressions that their processing still goes.
The project has been presented to the greatest audience in Russia and CIS.
Many thanks to all who has visited this exhibition in whole…
… and our booth particularly.
Many thanks to the company «Noviy Disk» - our splendid publisher.
Many thanks to all who wait our game – we won’t disappoint you.

The new video looks great. Can you give us a teaser about what a "typical" mission might be like in the campaign. Maybe a small video about the breifing and mission. Thank you for the hard work.

I love to see how ROF depicts winter and snow.I could imagine flying through a snow storm in the game, with the snow whisping around the wings and cockpit. It would be cool to see the scenery and the landscape covered in snow.Hopefully the snow on the ground would be effected by crashes and the surrounding snow melting from the engine fire.
Evening skies around the horizon during winter tend to be pinkish or magenta color.Landings in the game should be quite difficult on snow.I wonder if engines could be affected by the winter could during flight (problably not due to the heat).
I hope their would be a sound effect for when the engine gets shot up.It would make a metalic, grinding, crunching noise,a noise that would make your stomach cringe and say "Uh,oh"!.
BTW,I hate winter...so much! How do you Russians put up with it all year!?

With close Beta testing starting on Dec. 15 and the release for Russia close at hand, do you have any info on having a publisher for USA market yet?
