Week that works

Good day, dear radio listeners.

The next seven days have disappeared, and the world continues to collect with persistence of the bulldozer before itself a heap of not solved problems connected with crisis. And capacity of the bulldozer constantly increases according to growth of the size of an array of problems, to move which it’s obliged. To me it’s now already clear that it’s eternal Yin and Yang. But I, as well as the majority, can help nothing to humanity with struggle against own laziness, nonsense, lustfor power etc. More precisely, I can help, but only council – besides, as well as many. It is assured, what exactly too the considerable quantity of councils and small – affairs, is an original cause of so sad situation. Mass outflow of people from manufacture something to trade in something (or optimisation something) finally has deprived a situation of shaky stability, and the world – of new scientists, engineers, cosmonauts and pilots. For example: commercial space upon which fantasts rested all hopes as it is subject to crisis, as well as any other business. That fact that mighty mankind cannot fly to space of that it is expensive, it seems to me ridiculous.

All this meant that the answer to the question «why the first product of the company became the simulator?» Maybe this simulator - we feel like to believe - will help any number of people grow enthusiastic.

The last seven days the world has lost one just very good person. It’s CSL_Kocour (on October, 17th 2008, at flight on a paraplane). We often met it on open spaces of virtual wars when played IL-2 Sturmovik as a part of the Russian regiment =FB =. I did not know it personally, only in absentia on a public address system. But I saw his affairs, saw his fine virtual regiment CSL which we very much respected as opponents. VikS met him in 2005 in China during the championship on IL-2. I am assured that if somebody will sometime write history about the world of aviasimulators, Kocour will take in it a worthy place.

Fortunately, it’s the only sad event that I wanted to let you know. And here good was more. Our colleagues on biz had a release - event in our genre infrequent, and from it even more pleasant. ED have released "K-50 the Black Shark". All of us sincerely congratulate guys on this event and we wait for the announcement of the following game. About most to "the Black Shark» anything I will not tell - let it will be interesting to you.
Let's return to "Rise of Flight". Work proceeds, there are complexities, there are successes – everything as well as should be. This week we have finished the general adjustment of plane Albatros DV, now it is expected by tuning on updating of flight characteristics. In Petrovich’s design office work over SMG comes to an end (Screw-Motor Group), next week we plan to test already the new engines considerably complicated at the expense of correction mixes (altitude), ignition distributions on cylinders etc.
As, according to investigation, the software which will allow us to receive inertial model of the plane on it 3D models is written – in the long term it will allow to create planes faster. In the schedule there is an updating of various elements. In AI the mode "Target Cover" is fulfilled. There is a work on last land element - pillboxes on a front line: they will be able to fire, so, can become the high-grade purposes. The front line is modified: unfortunately, in the project it will be visually motionless, therefore we searched for its average position. Arrangement of airdromes from both parties of front, quantity of the established airdromes - more than 300 is finished. There is begun arrangement of "provincial" small towns which we plan to place on a card nearby 500.

This week I would like to show you a current condition of works on prototypes of historical cities. These cities are very important for modelling of territory of the First World War, and therefore are created separately. Cities include more objects, as well as unique prototypes of historic buildings (cathedrals, castles, etc.).

As I would like to present you graphic technology "destructions of buildings". The building can be destroyed as bombing attack, and as a result of its bombardment from tools.

On it for today everything, we will be heard next Thursday. At us still it is a lot of work.

LOFT, our sympathies go out to the friends and family of CSL_Kocour, and for the loss of one of our hobby's best.  Thank you for letting us know of our comrades passing!  Thank you also for this interesting blog update, and an idea of the recent work the ROF team is accomplishing on the project's building.  Speaking of buildings, the screenshots of the towns and the buildings above look awesome.  Not only do we look forward to fighting over this terrain someday, but certainly of being able to just touring over it, and witness its beauty from above.  Almost a shame that it will be war-torn, and witness the need for the destructable modeling techniques.  Thanks again for letting us know about Kocour's sad passing.  Thanks also for this posting, and the illustrated examples of the continued progress of ROF too!

Sorry to hear about CSL_Kocour.  Always sad when the community loses a member.

On the brighter side, thanks so much for the update and the screenshots!

As, according to investigation, the software which will allow us to receive inertial model of the plane on it 3D models is written – in the long term it will allow to create planes faster.

So this means a coupling between forces and 3d shape?

And another question - i was always curious: is the pilot weight/movement significant when handling a plane?

Thanks!

Good news!Jasta Klugermann has just recieved its 3rd member,a guy with a username,Migl. But the squadron needs at least 7 or 17 more members for it to be considered a filled roster.Fight on,Fly on!
